Our 2010 Charity Supporting: Senior Nutrition Program of San Luis Obispo County. Women for Community is proud to be the Title Sponsor of SNP’s Night of a Million Meals, May 22, 2010. http://www.goldenmeals.org/ Serving SLO County for 20 years, Senior Nutrition Program provides hot mid-day meals to more than 1,500 of our seniors at their homes or from 9 community locations. Our 2009 Charity  Supporting: Jack's Helping Hand, San Luis Obispo www.jackshelpinghand.org Jack’s Helping Hand was created to serve the unmet need within the San Luis Obispo community for an organization that seeks to enhance the physical, emotional and social development of disabled children. Net Proceeds:   $26,000	Our 2008 Charity  Supporting: The Community Counseling Center, San Luis Obispo   http://www.cccslo.com The Community Counseling Center Children and Teen program, with over 40 years of providing low cost, sliding-scale professional counseling services.   This program helps to alleviate emotional problems which stand as barriers to children and teens reaching their potential in school and as adults, and to developing the life skills needed to become productive and active participants in our community.   Net Proceeds:   $29,000 Click here to view the CCC's progress report	Our 2007 Charity Supporting: The San Luis Obispo Child Development Center. http://www.slocdc.org The San Luis Obispo Child Development Center is a nonprofit community program providing therapeutic intervention to strengthen families for the prevention and treatment of child abuse.   WFC supports two programs focusing on family healing.
