year's beneficiary is the Community Counseling Center Children and Teen
program, with over 40 years of providing low cost, sliding-scale
professional counseling services.
This
program helps to alleviate emotional problems which stand as barriers
to children and teens reaching their potential in school and as adults,
and to developing the life skills needed to become productive and
active participants in our community.

Overview
The
San Luis Obispo Child Development Center is a nonprofit community
program providing therapeutic intervention to strengthen families for
the prevention and treatment of child abuse.
WFC
supports two programs focusing on family healing. Parent Training
Evenings and Field Trips for Children.

Our 2006 Charity

Supporting: The
Sexual Assault Recovery and Prevention Center (SARP). www.sarpcenter.org
SARP provides sexual assault primary prevention services for SLO
residents. WFC funds will support the Men of Strength
(MOST) Club, which empowers young men to
use their masculinity in a positive manner and speak out against sexual
violence.
